My relationship with Matis is a deep and very personal one, taking me back to when I was younger, silly, different; Matis & I have grown & matured together 🙂
Today’s blog is just to talk about my first love… well, not the one you’re thinking of…
Matis was once upon a time a non profit organisation & Mavromati developed Fundamental Beautifying Cream & used it to treat burn patients in France oh so many years ago. Over the last 80 years, this gorgeous “care” has remained at the forefront of the Matis brand. It is still a top seller & yes, still the one I chose for myself. This magic tub holds an ingredient called Mimosa Tenuiflora which is a powerful skin regenerator. It is healing & anti-inflammatory & one of the only moisturizers I truly 100% believe suits all skins.
So, feeling nostalgic, feeling at home here in front of this screen in my salon, on this beautiful Saturday afternoon, I just want to send this love letter to the cream that holds my heart.
I have a confession to make! I think I just might be the slowest addition to online purchases, a very “stuck in my ways” 35 year old; yip that’s me!
I’ve always wanted to buy a cool jersey, pants or uber hot pair of boots from Spree or Superbalist but alas the fear of an item not fitting leads me back into the most frustrating task of shopping in a store, too many people around & the queues, oh dear… the queues 🙁
For some reason when the idea of opening my online store came, I thought it was thee most obvious thing to do. Fourways Mall under construction for 3 years & clients saying how much the lurrrv the product but hate coming all the way just made it a no brainer for me. For those fellow entrepreneurs out there, loading each pretty product is quite a task but I survived & my little online store is growing slowly but surely…

No big offices means not much room for error: Yes, you guessed it, I might just be a little bit OCD (my staff don’t think little) & I have a very painful weakness: DELEGATION! So, this means, I receive the orders, check that I pack the correct products, email you if it may take an extra day & sometimes give you a little extra info on the super amazing work of art you might be purchasing
My Payfast account is secure: I think this might be where most of my scepticism came from with online purchases, all the blooming scammers out there just waiting on my card details gave me the heebie jeebies! Let me set your mind at ease, your moola goes straight into my secure account- just make sure you have some internet protection to be safe 🙂
Direct Deposits: I’m not saying I’m not a trusting somebody, but my accountant Anitha might murder me if I sent the goods without the money so if you choose to be on the safe side & want to do a direct EFT, please note your delivery will be around 2 days more
